Terms of service
Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SparkInc ("we") for using SparkShare: the website, its API, the sparkshare-mcp server and agent plugins, and the SparkShare for X browser extension. By creating an account or using SparkShare you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
1. What SparkShare does
SparkShare publishes posts that you or your AI agent hand to it, with their images and videos, to the social accounts you connect. It does not write posts. For X, it prepares the post and you send it yourself.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account, must be at least 16, and must give us accurate information.
- Keep your API keys and signed-in computers safe: anything done with them counts as done by you. If a key leaks, revoke it in the dashboard.
- One person per account. Do not share an account or resell access to SparkShare.
3. Connected accounts and AI agents
- When you connect an account, you allow SparkShare to publish to it whenever you, or an agent signed in with your SparkShare account, ask it to.
- You are responsible for what is published through your account, including posts your agent writes. Agents can make mistakes. Our tools ask agents to show you each post and wait for your yes, but we cannot control what an agent does; check before you approve.
- Publishing is public and SparkShare cannot undo it. Delete unwanted posts on the network itself.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to what you publish. You give us permission to store, process, convert (for example resizing images or preparing videos for streaming), and send your content to the networks you choose, and to show it on share pages, only as needed to run SparkShare for you. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload and publish.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use SparkShare to:
- publish anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing or deceptive, or any sexual content involving minors;
- send spam, run fake or impersonating accounts, or manipulate engagement;
- break the terms of the networks you post to, including their rules on automation and posting limits;
- use uploads as general file hosting, or upload malware;
- probe, overload or break into SparkShare, get around usage limits, or access other people's data.
We may remove content, block requests or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. The networks
LinkedIn, Meta, X and other networks are separate companies with their own terms, which you must follow. They may reject posts, change or withdraw their APIs, limit features, or suspend accounts, and SparkShare may then stop working for that network. Some networks become available only after they approve SparkShare. We are not responsible for what the networks do.
7. Plans and fees
SparkShare is free for now, with usage limits that may change. If we introduce paid plans, we will say what they cost before you are charged, and nothing is charged without your agreement.
8. Changes and availability
We work to keep SparkShare running and improving, but we may change, pause or end features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we shut SparkShare down, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
9. Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account in the dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put SparkShare or others at risk; where reasonable we will tell you why first.
10. Disclaimer
SparkShare is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every post will be published.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, reputation or followers. Our total liability for any claim about SparkShare is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you published or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Using SparkShare after that means you accept the new terms.
